A new healthcare system for Hartlepool, Stockton and parts of Easington and Sedgefield
The purpose of this consultation website is to give you information about a new and improved health system in Hartlepool, Stockton and parts of Easington and Sedgefield. During the consultation which begins on 2 June and ends on 1 September we want to listen to your views about:
- having health services in or as near to your home as possible, with only things which need to be done in hospital taking place there
- where you think Hartlepool and Stockton’s community services should be and on which site you feel the new hospital for Stockton, Hartlepool and parts of Easington and Sedgefield should be built
- how best to bring in all the changes needed to build this new healthcare system
County Durham Primary Care Trust may consult separately about any changes to community services for people living in the parts of Easington and Sedgefield which are in the catchment area of North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust.
