North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust is submitting a planning application in spring 2009 for the new hospital to serve Hartlepool, Stockton and parts of Easington and Sedgefield. As part of the planning process, applicants are encouraged to undertake community consultation before they submit the planning application, with those public who may have an interest in the proposed development.
Entec UK Ltd is the planning advisor to the Trust on the new hospital and will be preparing an Outline Planning Application, on behalf of the Trust, which will comprise of a Planning Statement and Design and Access Statement setting out the proposals for the new hospital.
As part of the planning application process we invite public comments about the planned hew hospital. Representatives acting for the Trust will be available at each exhibition to answer questions on the planning process, technical work undertaken and the planned new hospital.
You are invited to come along and view the exhibition at the following venues:
- Hartlepool Leisure Centre
Tuesday 2nd December 2008 and Monday 5th January 2009
- Stockton Swallow Hotel
Thursday 11th December 2008 and Tuesday 13th January 2009
- Sedgefield Parish Hall
Thursday 4th December 2008 and Thursday 15th January 2009
- Peterlee Leisure Centre
Tuesday 9th December 2008 and Wednesday 7th January 2009
All sessions will take place at the above venues from 12noon to 8pm.

Unstaffed display from Tuesday 2nd December 2008 to 16th January 2009
Staffed sessions on Wednesday 3rd December 2008, 10am - 2pm and
Monday 12th January 2009, 10am - 2pm
