The programme was launched in April 2007 with the publication of The Road Map to New Hospital, Primary and Community Services and Facilities in Teesside click here. This document provides background, context and vision for the overall programme of work.

This document was circulated to stakeholders and organisations across the area requesting their support and sign up.

The programme also produced a DVD to give people an understanding of how important this programme of work is for the area.

Since April 2007 a comprehensive programme of communication and engagement has taken place including:

• meetings with key stakeholders and  interested groups
• quarterly partnership panel meetings
• service pathway focus group discussions with clinical staff and patients, carers and the public.
